Vatos Villa: Riza Stone Cottage (2 bedrooms)

Riza Stone Cottage was lovingly created as an eco-sensitive building using local stone and timber with tasteful decoration, surrounded by beautiful gardens with fruit trees and vegetable / agricultural gardens, healthy spring water.
The combination of a friendly welcome, the locally grown produce - mostly from this garden and the spectacular surrounding countryside waiting to be explored, is another option for alternative year-round holidays.
The ground floor of this private haven has an open-plan sitting area combined with fully equipped kitchen/dining and separate WC with lavabo. Internal wooden staircase leads to the upper floor, which has two double bedrooms (one with a sofa bed), a spacious bathroom and a small store room. Both bedrooms have large windows opening to amazing views of the Ropa Valley.

Riza Stone Cottage is located in a beautiful but little-known part of Corfu, nestled in an olive grove, in a peaceful corner, near the small green-clad mountain village of Vatos.
It is built in 4 stremmas of land and located 14 km west of Corfu town and about 3 km from Myrtiotissa nudist beach, Glyfada and Ermones beaches.

Vatos Village:
15 km west of Corfu Town you will find Vatos. A small traditional village nestled into the hillside of Ayios Giorgis, with a magnificent view to the Ropa valley. It covers an area of 7,000 stremmas and has 500 inhabitants, who are simple and warm people occupied mostly with the cultivation of the land.
Vatos is a place where the directness and gentleness of the traditional old Corfiot can be found.
