The covered terrace is particularly attractive, with plenty of space for outdoor eating; it is also curtained, for a little extra shade when required. The surroundings are as traditional as you would expect - natural gardens and stonewalled terraces enclosing the old olive trees that cover the hillside.
The kitchen area is entirely modern yet preserves a touch of the past in the form of the original corner fireplace. There is easy access to the main terrace with its outdoor dining table and chairs.
The sitting room, at the rear of the cottage, retains a traditional, with its handsome furniture and old dowry chest.
The bedroom is bright and pretty, with its own small terrace overlooking sea views. There is a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table and, for extra comfort, air-conditioning.
The tiled bathroom is modern and attractive, equipped with a full bath and a shower fitting.
On hot summer days it is tempting - and quite traditional! - to turn the terrace into an outdoor living room. With a big granite table and comfortable chairs, and curtains to provide extra shade when necessary, the terrace of this villa is quite delightful.
